Exeter Works
McQueenie Mulholland successfully tendered for the work as communications partner for Exeter Works, the city’s plan to help the working population of Exeter to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Exeter Works online resource had been in operation for six months when our team started working on this project. One of our first tasks was to launch the physical advice hub in bustling Princesshay.
Our team organised the official opening of the advice hub and sent material and photographs to the press. We secured coverage in local and regional television programmes and publications.
Our launch campaign also consisted of a series of highstreet and digital advertising, alerting job seekers to the advice hub.

Regional coverage
We also undertook to officially launch the hub in July, once restrictions had eased and we were able to invite the press to an official event. For this we invited businesses, Councillors and influencers and secured coverage in local and regional publications and websites.
Our film team made a video for use on the Exeter Works website and social media platforms, which was also used across Devon Live channels and networks in the lead up to the official launch of the advice hub in July 2021.
