This week our client Cosmic launched a new helpline for businesses and charities in the South West that are struggling to adapt to remote working as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Cosmic have been quick to recognise the disruption that the pandemic will surely cause to many organisations in the South West; and identified remote working and digital skills advice as having the potential to alleviate such problems. In addition to the helpline, Cosmic is also providing organisations with a toolkit to reference when adapting digital infrastructure.
We fully support Cosmic’s advice helpline initiative and its objective to “#KeepTheSouthWestWorking”.
No doubt organisations throughout the UK (and the world) will struggle to adapt to the circumstances we find ourselves in with the pandemic, but it is what they do in response that matters now. Being proactive in continuity planning is key and communication, to both internal and external audiences, has a huge role to play here.
In thinking about how our agency can support organisations in the South West and keep them working, McQueenie Mulholland has decided to heavily discount (half) the cost of our crisis and continuity communications services for organisations dealing with problems concerning Covid-19.

2. Help you define your external audiences and identify the most suitable channels for you to engage with them
3. Help you schedule your communications, so they are timely and respond to changing circumstances appropriately
4. Help you prepare for questions that may follow as a result of any internal and external communications you disseminate.
It’s regrettable that we cannot provide these services for free, but let’s be clear, McQueenie Mulholland will not profit from this work. Charges will only cover our costs – we too need to keep our business working.
