Marketing Case Study
Established in 1973, Cartridges Law is an Exeter based legal practice that caters for the legal needs of both commercial and private clients. Spanning both traditional and digital media, our challenge was to define, design and deliver a marketing strategy that promoted the firm, as a whole, and the five departments within it separately.
Central to our solution for the client was data analysis. In analysing anonymised enquirer and client data we were able to ascertain key insights about which channels had historically worked well for the client and which had not in term of recruiting new business. We were also able to quantify which services received the most enquiries. Understanding these crucial dimensions enabled us to prioritise the weaknesses (and fix them) and the strengths (and capitalise on them) in the existing strategy.
In designing the marketing strategy, we developed new creative messaging for the firm to run with through print, press, events, DM and digital media channels, which in turn has engaged new audiences. Not wanting to neglect existing clients, we also ensured a sizeable part of the plan delivered activities to encourage retention of these highly important individuals and companies.
Our work with Cartridges Law is ongoing with strong results being reported. Holding regular review meetings and developing a very close relationship has been integral to the success of the client’s marketing strategy – this has enabled us to tighten the strategy and introduce new and creatively compelling concepts into the client’s marketing push.
