PR and Marketing Workshops For The Food and Drink Sector

Taste of the West is the largest independent regional food group in the UK, promoting and supporting local food and drink. Through our role as the organisation’s official PR and marketing partner we have created a series of one day workshops, specifically aimed at businesses within the food and drink industry.

At McQueenie Mulholland we have an in-depth understanding of this sector and in delivering campaigns for our food and drink clients.

The PR and marketing workshops will cover:

  • Introduction to PR and marketing

  • Making your marketing plan

  • Digital marketing (including social media, web design and search engine optimisation)

  • Branding and design

  • Press and PR

Who will you be learning from?

The workshops will be run by Eleanor Yeo, who specialises in food and drink, hospitality and agricultural clients. She excels at creating engaging PR content and also specialises in influencer marketing.

Sue McQueenie will be running the workshops with Eleanor. Sue is a trained journalist with over 15 years of media and PR experience and knows how to create content that gets noticed and published by national, regional and local press.

Location and dates:

Wednesday 13th March at Oddfellows in Exeter, Devon. Lunch will be provided, with refreshments throughout the day. A free special cocktail making masterclass will take place at lunchtime.

Thursday 21st March at Lifton Farm Shop in Lifton, Devon. A light lunch will be provided, with refreshments throughout the day.

Please arrive at 9:30 for a 10am start, the workshops will finish at 3pm.


Taste of the West have kindly agreed to offer these workshops to their members at a special discounted price of £65. The course costs £80 for non-members.
